What is the IP instructor certification program?
The Korea Patent Attorneys Association certifies members with expertise in intellectual property as instructors. The program builds a pool of qualified instructors to meet external demand for IP education and supports members' teaching activities through a credible, organized system.
Patent attorney Yongduck Kim has delivered IP lectures for the Korea Invention Promotion Association, AI technology-commercialization training for the Korean Association of University Technology Transfer Management, lectures on blockchain-related IP trends and applications for the Seoul Intellectual Property Association, and IP training for startups organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
He was also selected as a Public Procurement Service evaluator for outstanding AI and IoT products and has served as an external adviser on technology assessments for KOSDAQ listing reviews involving AI technology.
Drawing on his experience, he has published books on AI patent examination, trademark similarity theory and case law, and technology-special listing assessments.
